Will Dolce Vita Strings live performance be as good as your videos and recordings?
Most definitely! Our live performances often capture an energy and vibe that videos can't fully convey. While our studio recordings offer pristine sound quality without any background noise, the dynamic atmosphere of a live event brings a unique and engaging experience that recordings simply can't replicate.
Is Dolce Vita Strings experienced?
Dolce Vita Strings is a group of highly experienced, classically trained musicians. Each member undergoes a lifelong training process to acquire the refined skills necessary for exceptional performance. With over 15 years of experience serving the event industry, we have mastered every logistical aspect of live entertainment. Our expertise ensures seamless integration of music into corporate and private events, delivering a sophisticated and memorable experience every time.
How many weddings have you played?
We perform at approximately 250 events each year, with more than half being weddings. Our extensive experience in wedding music allows us to provide a seamless and memorable soundtrack for your special day, whether it’s an intimate ceremony or a grand celebration. Each event receives the same level of professionalism and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality live music tailored precisely to your preferences.
Can you learn new songs?
We absolutely can! Though we recommend that clients choose songs from our existing repertoire. If you don’t see a particular song listed, please inquire – we most likely have it. If not, we offer up to 3 custom arrangements.
What time will you arrive?
Our standard arrival time is one hour prior to the performance. However, depending on the scale and complexity of the production, the arrival time may vary to ensure proper setup and sound checks.
Do you require sound amplification?
We do not require sound amplification as our acoustic instruments project sound effectively. However, for outdoor events with over 150 guests, we highly recommend amplification to ensure optimal sound coverage and an enjoyable experience for all attendees.
Do you provide sound amplification?
We offer sound amplification services for an additional fee. Additionally, we are happy to collaborate with the venue’s in-house team to ensure optimal performance quality.
What kind of music do you play?
We cover almost every music genre, from classical to rock, pop, and contemporary. Our specialty lies in a wide range of pop covers, recently referred to as "Bridgerton"—a graceful blend of classical elegance and modern edge. This unique approach brings a sophisticated yet fresh atmosphere to your event, perfect for weddings, corporate functions, and private celebrations.
Can you help me choose music for my event?
We are happy to help you choose music. For wedding ceremonies, we begin by sending a suggested song list that includes compositions from various genres. Based on your selections, we gain a clear understanding of your musical preferences to tailor the performance perfectly to your vision and the vibe you are goin for.
What happens if you finished playing a song and the bride is still walking the aisle?
We will NOT stop playing the processional song while the bride (or groom) is still walking. Our musicians are highly experienced and, while carefully watching the procession, will seamlessly loop the song for as long as needed. Often, we coordinate with the planner ahead of time so the bride walks down the aisle during the climax of the song, creating a truly “goosebump” moment.
Do you require a contract and/or a deposit?
Yes, we require both a contract and a non refundable deposit to secure your date and provide peace of mind for your special day.
What if I cancel?
Due to difficulty in re-booking a date that has been reserved, all deposits and payments are non refundable.
Do you provide Certificate of Insurance?
We can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for an additional fee if required by the venue.
